Float Preparation

  1. Coffee is not recommended the day of the float and no heavy meals beforehand. This will allow your body and mind to enter a deep state of relaxation.
  2. Try not to shave the day of your float. The salt can cause a lot of irritation to shaved skin.
  3. Let go and be open to the experience.

Are The Float Rooms Sanitary?

While each client is showering and changing our very high powered magnetic drive filtration pump filters and cleans the entire float solution 4 times. As well, the water passes through a UV light and peroxide drip. Every client can step into an Ocean Float room reassured in the knowledge that the solution is sparkling clean and 100% sterile.

Should I Bring Anything?

We provide all towels, shampoos, conditioners and blow dryers. If you wear contacts you may want to bring a case to put them in before you enter the tank. Ear plugs will be provided as well if you feel you need them.

Do People Float NAKED?

Yes!!! It’s about zero distractions to let your mind complete let go, so it is recommended that you float with nothing on. With that being said you will have complete privacy in the float room and float tank so it is totally up to you if you want to float naked or not.

How Often Should I Float?

Floating is an accumulative therapy. Which means the more you float, the more benefits you will enjoy. It is always best to find what works for you!

Will I Feel Claustiphobic?

The rooms are 7ft high 7ft long and 4.5ft wide. You are in complete control of your environment with lights that you can turn on and off from inside the room as well the door can be left open or closed. If you can close your eyes and relax you will feel as though you are floating in space…it doesn’t get much bigger then that.

Can I Drown?

No Way not happening! the rooms are filled with 1000 pounds of Epsom salts which makes you very buoyant and the float is effortless.
